Matt 5:46-47
Matt 9:10-11, 12-13
Luke 7:47
Luke 7:41-42
Luke 5:27-28 Genealogy means ORIGIN
This Genealogy is broken into 3 sections:

1. Abraham to Jesse
2. From David to Josiah
3. From Jeconiah to Joseph

Matt 1:1 \"The book of the genealogy\", this phrase also appears in Gen 5:1

Genesis introduces the FIRST ADAM while Matt 1:1 introduces the last Adam.

We each got into the 1st Adams Genealogy through birth. All who are in this family die (Rom 6:23, 5:12)

How do we get into the 2nd Genealogy, the Lamb\'s book of Life? It is also by a birth, a NEW BIRTH. We receive Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we are born again.

John 3:3 God wants ALL to come to know Him.
John 3.16 & 3.17
Rom 5.18

The account of Tamar is found in Gen 38:13-30.
The account of Rahab is found in Joshua 2, Heb 11.31.
The account of Ruth begins with the law in Deut 23.3, yet she found favor with Boaz (Ruth 2.10).

The account of Jeconiah is found in Jer 22.30, he\'s a king that is cursed by God.

Matt 1.16 - Jesus the Christ
In the Hebrew \"Jesus\" is \"Jeshua\" or \"Joshua\" which means \"the Lord is Salvation\". Christ, or in the Greek \"Christos\" means \"the anointed one\" and has the same meaning as the Hebrew word \"Messiah.\"

Deut 22.23-24
Isaiah 7.14
John 1.11-14

If you have never received Jesus you can give your life to Him.
Pray --- Father, I know that I am a sinner, Jesus died on the cross to save sinners. Jesus died to save me. Forgive me. Cleanse me of my sins. Give me a new life. I will follow you from this day forward. In Jesus name, Amen.
